Writing is hard. Sometimes it just can't start. You would be lying to yourself if you think you've never experienced that terror, sense of sterility while taking an empty piece of paper or starting a new document. There's a thing to be written, you know it. But nothing happens. In praise of terrorizing white

White is one of the primary colors, an achromatic one which is always more than meets the eye. Its importance is often overestimated due to its constant overexposure. White surrounds us and we just don't pay much attention to its effect on human perception. White of the sheet of paper is inescapable part of writer's work. The one that often binds the writers, makes them helpless. That makes its overwhelming mass the force to be reckoned with.

Bedazzling blank page anxiety

There was a page that was blank and there was a man sitting at his desk with this page. They were spending a lot of time together. Nothing really happened. That man wasn't willing to put anything on the page. Except for the cup, obviously. Time passed by. He wasn't even moving his writing hand, although the pencil was firmly set in-between his fingers.
